BARBARA FARRIS SNELL RN, BSN, LMHC

C.E.O.

​Barbara offers years of real life clinical experience, in her nursing practice and health care leadership to Northwest Nursing Consultants team. Graduating with her undergraduate degree in Nursing and Business from University of Portland, she completed her Master’s degree in Psychology at Antioch University, and has additional post graduate training in Medical Legal Studies. For the last 30 years, Barbara has been practicing as a Registered Nurse, specializing in geriatric/end of life, psychology and emergency medicine. She is genuine, hard working and passionate about providing the highest quality work in all she does. Her other accomplishments include being a nationally recognized speaker and clinician for her work in the ALS Association, a member of their Medical Advisory Board, co-author of a booklet on end of life care and honored recipient of the coveted Moyer Foundation grant for her programs working with families at end of life. During her hours outside of nursing, Barbara is a former competitive sail boat racer, plays tennis and is learning (oh so painfully slowly) golf. Barbara’s precise personality, wickedly funny sense of humor and easy laugh (especially at herself), brings a joy to the team and others all around her.

MARK MCFEELEY RN

Director of Professional  Medical Education

Mark bring twenty years of current, relevant critical care cardiac nursing experience. He is well respected by the critical care and cardiac physicians and nurse colleagues for his knowledge and skills. Mark was part of the development team to establish Open Heart Unit at Astria/Yakima Regional Healthcare. When there is a code at the hospital, Mark runs them. He knows what to do and how to do it right. Mark earned his Associated Degree in Nursing from Yakima Valley College. Prior to critical care Nursing, Mark worked in geriatric first as a caregiver and then as a Registered Nurse. Mark is a dedicated family man, who loves to fish and hunt with his son. Mark’s personality inspires trust, respect and brings an ease to all he touches. When teaching, his style is current, relevant with stories that are practical and funny.

TRACY MCFEELEY RN

Director of Clinical Systems

Tracy provides experienced leadership to our clinical team from decades of home health and hospice Nursing care. Tracy is the former lead Hospice RN with Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. She has a passion for quality palliative and hospice care. Tracy earned her Associates degree in Nursing from Yakima Valley College. She is amazing at organizing and ensuring that all members of a patient’s team are informed, and the details are taken care of. Tracy is gifted at assessment through phone triage and finding solutions. Her clinical focus is holistic and comprehensive. Prior to earning her degree as a Registered Nurse, Tracy worked as a caregiver in long term care; she understands the challenges and blessings for caregivers. Tracy is witty and funny, warm and compassionate. In her free time, she enjoys creating a warm home filled with antiques. Her family is her heart and she love spending time with them either at home or out in the mountains.

EMILY BOISSELLE RN, BSN

Registered Nurse

Emily brings over eight years of Intensive Care/Medical Surgical nursing to our NorthWest Nursing Clinical Team. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Biola University, California . She is a critical thinker able to assess and plan for her patients paying attention to the details. Her written work is well researched, thoughtful and precise. Emily is bilingual in English/Spanish. She is a dedicated mom to her two young children and she and her husband join a multi-generation family farm in the mid-Valley. Emily is an amazing baker, who has a gracious personality and sharp mind.

SEAN SNELL BS, M.Ed

Chief Financial Officer



Sean leads NWNC fiscal management through sound business practices. He leads with a keen sense of planning and partnership for thoughtful growth and fiscal responsibility.

Sean has earned an undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University in biology and chemistry and a Master’s degree in Education, plus thirty years experience in education. Sean brings real life experience and didactic knowledge to Professional Medical Educational Program ensuring our classes are taught with excellence in education and solid outcomes.

Sean is a beloved father and husband. He is an avid life long outdoorsman from the Pacific Northwest.

HALEY SNELL

Office Manager

Haley joins NWNC with a background working with high security issues. She has an understanding, appreciation, and expertise to care for our sensitive electronic records and communications.  Haley is highly organized and her attention to detail ensures that all deadlines are on target and on time. Haley is an avid researcher in genealogy and history. She is a beloved wife and mother. Haley enjoys her home, cooking and canning and family.
